New Synaptics Tech Could Make Windows 8 More Touchy-Feely

Synaptics has developed a new PC input technology that may debut in upcoming Intel Ultrabooks. The ForcePad is a large touchpad device that can sense input from up to five fingers simultaneously. It resembles the touchpad found on Apple MacBooks. However, the ForcePad contains no moving parts and can detect differences in finger pressure.
